Tony Rosenberg

Tony entered the property industry in 1981 as an independent developer and then as a partner in Verschoyle Fleming investment agency and Park Securities. In 1993 he went into the leisure industry, launching a ground-breaking music venue, later to grow into a company which subsequently floated on AIM at The London Stock Exchange, encompassing the operation of night clubs, American pool and snooker bars and ten pin bowling.

In 2001 the company was subject to a reverse take over and Tony returned to the property business as a principal in residential development and investment.

Following the change in empty rates legislation he identified the requirement for a specialist consultancy to deal with mitigating clients liabilities and joined with Richard Artus to create Vacant Space Management.

In his spare time you can find Tony improving his [already impressive] golf swing, questioning his beloved Chelsea FC over and over again, and at home with his loving family.

Richard Artus

Director

Richard Artus has a reputation for innovation. With a career in property dating back to 1969 he has been both a successful estate agent and principal. Following an apprenticeship in the Central London office market with DE+J Levy and Ian Scott he became a partner in the nationwide chain Ellis & Co. Working as a developer throughout the 1980’s he then with a handful of other visionaries saw a gap in the market and in the early 1990’s created London’s first loft agency Urban Spaces. The agency spearheaded the commercial to residential revolution in London’s city fringes.

With a creative outlook in the property industry Richard, at the turn of the century, built up Amazing Space to be the foremost film location agency in the UK and in 2011 founded VSM with Tony.

Richard spends most of his spare time being his alter ego ‘Howling Dick‘, being frustrated by Arsenal, with whom he helped regenerate the Highbury Studios complex, exploring his love of creating art, or with his family and walking his dog Django.

Tom Parrish

Director

In October 2012, Tom accepted directorship at VSM. With it he brings 15 years of property experience to the role. He is a Chartered Surveyor, having worked in both the Sydney and London markets, although predominantly the latter, during which time he worked for leading consultancy firms, CB Richard Ellis and Cluttons LLP.

In 2008, Tom founded Arc Partners, a London based property consultancy, specialising in the UK Telecommunications Sector by providing professional advice and for Landlords.

At Arc he has built an impressive client base, with the combined objective of maximising income and safeguarding the firm’s clients. This draws on many similarities between the two businesses of specialism and numerous shared clients.

Tom spends his spare time with his loving and growing family.

Harry completes the family affair by operating the Logistics & Building Management side of VSM. His no-nonsense approach to matters ensures that logistics run as planned.

Harry is forever across the UK ensuring that everything in reality is as they were said in the boardroom.

In his spare time Harry is also a successful Drum&Bass DJ regularly playing at nightclubs across the UK to 1000s of revellers at ungodly times in the morning.

Sophia joined Vacant Space Management in November 2016 as Team Administrator assisting across all aspects of the business.

We are delighted to have Sophia’s enthusiasm and can-do attitude within the team. Sophia regularly assists with large amounts of data collection and gathering enabling senior management to make effective decisions.

Sophia is also a keen athlete, recently competing in the Milton Keynes 1/2 marathon.

Josh Artus

Consultant - Creative & Income based projects

Josh has always been fascinated by property and architecture. Since leaving Art School, studying sculpture and installation, in 2008, at the time the world fell apart, he has forged a career in connecting creatives to the commercial property market. From 2008 Josh worked at and then run the film & event location library AmazingSpace.co.uk until its sale in 2012. Josh then joined successful start up ‘Appear Here’ as employee no.1 and helping it rise from scratch to now be an international company. Now Josh runs PlaceArts.com which is the force behind all creative projects taking place within the VSM offering.

Josh brings to VSM new methods of occupying empty space and tools with which to create income streams for landlords.

Josh recently sat on the GLA Open Workspace Provider Group helping as part of team advise on the future of workspace in London for SMEs. Josh is also a director of The Centric Lab, a research lab for the built environment, where he works with cognitive scientists, architects and researchers in providing insights to human behaviour and experience of the built environment.

In his spare time Josh is either joining his father in being frustrated by Arsenal, snapping pictures of London’s architecture, and delving into new restaurants in London.
